I am officially a member of the Youth Services department at a semi-local public library!
This job is exciting because it means I get lead some of my own story times and help organize and run other reading programs in the children’s department. It is also exciting because it means I am one step closer to get an apartment with T.Sean in the city. Now, technically I am over qualified for this job and I could (should?) look for a job that pays a bit better or has more hours but, at this point anyway, I am just so relieved to have a job in a field I am interested in (literacy! libraries!) that I will happily look for a supplemental job. In fact, I’ve already sent out a bunch of applications for part time jobs in the city in the hopes that maybe one day soonish I can split my time there and at the library.
ANYWAY, how was your Saturday? Mine was like this:
Happy Sunday ya’all.

Congrats Kim! Another added bonus of this job is being very close to your aunt, who cooks amazing (and super healthy) dinners…
Oh Tegan… You’re so sweet… I’m blushing…
haha
Hahaha, this made me laugh out loud!
Of course, I will obviously be visiting with both of my aunts! (And eating all of the food, whatever house it may be)
Jen too funny!
Whichever auntie cooks for Kim will be better than what her mom cooks!
Congrats, Kim; so happy for you!
