The End of Unemployment

I am officially a member of the Youth Services department at a semi-local public library!

This job is exciting because it means I get lead some of my own story times and help organize and run other reading programs in the children’s department. It is also exciting because it means I am one step closer to get an apartment with T.Sean in the city. Now, technically I am over qualified for this job and I could (should?) look for a job that pays a bit better or has more hours but, at this point anyway, I am just so relieved to have a job in a field I am interested in (literacy! libraries!) that I will happily look for a supplemental job. In fact, I’ve already sent out a bunch of applications for part time jobs in the city in the hopes that maybe one day soonish I can split my time there and at the library.

ANYWAY, how was your Saturday? Mine was like this: IMG_3394

Happy Sunday ya’all.

  1. Congrats Kim! Another added bonus of this job is being very close to your aunt, who cooks amazing (and super healthy) dinners…

    • Hahaha, this made me laugh out loud!

Of course, I will obviously be visiting with both of my aunts! (And eating all of the food, whatever house it may be)
